Who lives at Brookside Farm?

Adults 21 years of age and older who are dealing with some sort of traumatic brain injury, developmental/cognitive disability, or autism. Schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, TBI, IDD, and depression.

How much does it cost to live at Brookside Farm?

Semi Private Rooms: $5,500 per month

Private Rooms : $6,500 per month

How do families pay for the monthly fees?

Residents are privately funded through trusts, disability checks or private pay.

What are the admission requirements?

To be admitted to Brookside Farm individuals must:

Be medically and psychiatrically stable.
Voluntarily take all medications and attend necessary medical appointments.
Not pose an elopement risk.
Not pose a threat to themselves or others.
Voluntarily come to live at Brookside Farm.

Brookside Farm is a truly amazing facility. My stepson, who suffered from schizophrenia, lived there for more than ten years. During that time he came to love his Brookside family who provided gentle structure, careful supervision, caring attention to his medication and all his physical needs. The staff there made him feel cared for, secure, important and visible. They took him on outings for lunch or to the movies as he was able, and he truly thrived there. As a step-mom, I can say that Brookside was the answer to our prayers for a place where my relative would be happy, safe, cared for and loved. I give Brookside, its staff and ownership the highest recommendation as well as my lasting gratitude.
