Admissions Information for Texas

Since 1997, Brookside Farm has served as a licensed assisted living facility by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. We specialize in providing care for adults ages 21 and older with mental illness, traumatic brain injury, developmental disabilities and autism.

Our residential facility accepts all gender identities. It has a bed capacity of 10, and we currently have openings with shared or private rooms.

Our rates are as followed

Rates include housing, meals, 24/7 supervision, and daily living support.

$5,500 / monthSemi-Private Room
$6,500 / monthPrivate Room

To be admitted individuals must

Be medically and psychiatrically stable.
Voluntarily take all medications and attend necessary medical appointments.
Not pose an elopement risk.
Not pose a threat to themselves or others.
Voluntarily come to live at Brookside Farm.

Brookside Farm is a truly amazing facility. My stepson, who suffered from schizophrenia, lived there for more than ten years. During that time he came to love his Brookside family who provided gentle structure, careful supervision, caring attention to his medication and all his physical needs. The staff there made him feel cared for, secure, important and visible. They took him on outings for lunch or to the movies as he was able, and he truly thrived there. As a step-mom, I can say that Brookside was the answer to our prayers for a place where my relative would be happy, safe, cared for and loved.
